You should take up voice lessons from Jim Steinberger (the choir director at South). I've been taking since 8th grade and it has helped a lot because he knows exactly what he wants from us, and when we learn it, it helps us advance into a higher choir level (for me, he helped me get into concert choir by teaching me everything he wanted from all of us, only individually). There's nothing wrong with taking from Andrew or someone else, but because Jim is a pro (and a dinosaur at it haha), I'd say he was your best choice- if you're willing to pay for lessons. $20 a lesson, half an hour, just so you know.

And your post made me incredibly happy. I've never heard someone so touched by soloists and songs. You describe your feelings and emotions so well- I'm jealous of your feelings.
