Hi, Jill.

It's me. Yeah, you know who. Well, anyhow, on the band thing, you are so right. I'm going to miss a lot of people. And yeah, being the last band concert did affect me. I could sense that it was almost final in a way. Like how if you screw up, you're never going to get a chance to redeem yourself. That's why I was so pissed at my trumpet. It's okay though. The audience didn't know. But I think I had Mr. Larabee wondering... Anyways, it was sort of sad when I read how you're probably not going to play clarinet anymore. I can understand, because a lot of people stop after high school, but it's still sad. You know, how it's a part of you like six years of your life, and then it's finally over. A sudden crash and it's gone. Like a flower petal lost on the wind. You can try to get it back, but you'll never find that exact same petal ever again ( ... )
