I find it fascinating that people can get so bent out of shape that you are sick and can't do everything they can do.

And then the person with the chronic illness is seen as selfish? WTF?

I guess I've been really lucky that no one has really given me grief for not being ready to jump at the chance to do anything and everything that is offered. I have compassionate friends. Or if they think I'm being a baby, they're keeping it to themselves. (Which is also nice.)
