... Okay, "pretty" is a huge understatement.

Broken ribs, gash on her arm, damage in one of her eyes, head trauma, and I could've sworn I saw some burns.

She wasn't even coherent when I talked to her. I don't know how this could've happened.

Either she got into a fight she couldn't handle or something caught her off-guard and she didn't have help. I'm not sure what's worse.

Did they say how good her chances of a full recovery are?

A little cut doesn't make you fall to your knees like that. Plus you got that nice bruise. I'm not worrying about you bleeding to death, but I also like knowing you're not concussed.
