[Well, this is a familiar sight. Lightning and Odin are out training again, though this time it isn't as late, due to Rise's drooping pigtails routine from yesterday. They're back out on Route 31, and if there's a creaking sound, it's because Lightning is holding her Gear with a white-knuckled grip. No Gastly is getting the drop on her this time. ( Read more... )

[The Gastly is just trying to run away from the crazy lady and her fire spitting horse, but it slows a bit when Haunter calls out to it, blinks, then takes off again as that same fire spitting horse comes charging down the route. Is it too much to ask for an easy prank these days?!]

[Lightning gives Sora a sideways glance as he speaks up, but smirks a little and turns back to chasing after the Gastly.

Odin's already spitting fire again, so it shouldn't take long to catch it. Even though it is getting a few good hits of it's own in on him, he's still standing. Stubborn horse? Yes. Considering his mistress, it shouldn't be a surprise.]

[Well, the route isn't that big, so it's not like Rise will lose sight of--scratch that, Gastly headed into the foliage, and Odin going after it means Lightning goes after him. Rise might want to stay there, actually.]

She clicks her tongue, but keeps going as Odin spits more fire out at Gastly, Ember doing a good job to keep it from getting away and wearing it down at the same time.]

Leon watches to make sure she doesn't bother anything--but he knows she's too wary of fire to get close. Still, he readies her pokeball in case he has to call her back. Skarmory caws encouragingly at Odin; he's almost there! ]

Upon hearing those pikas, and then Ven's voice, Lightning turns to look over her shoulder, but doesn't slow down. Just a minute, Ven. She's got a Gastly to catch, and a Pikachu to not step on.]

[And underfoot he seems to enjoy going, too. Lightning has to skid to a stop or end up stepping on him, though Odin keeps charging on ahead, still chasing after the Gastly, spitting fire whenever it tries to stray into the grass or trees.]
