We've just watched Synth Britannia, a history of british synthpop. It's interesting to see the development, both in terms of style and technology. The early bands like Throbbing Gristle and The Normal were talking about building their keyboards from instructions in an electronics magazine and showed you the full circuit diagram in the one issue
