So, there is a new Sweet Valley book coming out by the original creator, meant to take place about ten years after the original high school series. This is the Entertainment Weekly review about it. (WARNING: SPOILERS.)

...I am unsure if I even want to read this. Those spoilers make me feel a little "DO NOT WANT", but you never know...? :/

Boooooo. I LOVED THOSE STUPID, STUPID BOOKS. This doesn't really even sound like the fun kind of bad.

Those books were my favourite for years! And it sounds like the SVU series is being ignored in its entirety (which is lame because I honestly adored a lot of it), and there seems to be several pieces of character assassination in it. If it were at least hilariously bad, I'd be okay with it, BUT I HAVE MY DOUBTS ON THAT. . .

I remember someone talking about the horribleness of an excerpt from an advance copy a while ago so I already knew most of the spoilers. But, wow, it really does sound like a terrible book.
