What sort of production is it that requires the chorus to wear suspender belt and negligee ?

It was the Salieri Falstaff last summer (Bampton) where I had to wear the suspenders etc. We were supposed to be Land Girls, with Falstaff a suitably large brigadier. The quick change was before the final scene, where we were in our underwear+rather skimpy nightwear pretending to be fairies.

Hannah Francis, playing Anna, is a fairly mature lady and the thought of her in her underwear is somewhat daunting. According to Donizetti, of course, she was completely innocent.
