Nigerian Weddings

I went to several weddings when I was in Nigeria. I don't remember much about them - the booze flowed very freely and it was many years ago when the drink of choice was pink champagne!

My main impression is of everyone being dressed the same as it was (and, I think still is) a tradition that the whole family is kitted out in the same material either by the groom's family or the bride's (I forget) - usually in white, men, women and children. Everyone gets their bit and does their own thing with design and accessories - it looked stunning.
