THAT, my dear, was a damn good read!

When are you starting on the geek book, anyway?

Sounds like you had a great holiday. :) It's awesome that your parents are helping out - seems no matter how old you get, you're always their kid. That's what parents are there for - to keep us young, yet somewhat irritated. ;)

And that's a good thing about missing St. Patrick's. We briefly toured it, and that place gave me the creeps. I've never had a church freak me out like that one had. There certainly are some rather "interesting" energies going on there. I thoroughly enjoyed St. Joseph's Chapel across from the WTC site though - great history and the energies are very comforting. It's definitely worth exploring. :)

Have a Happy New Year!

Why thank you, Goonie. Your post was something of an inspriation for mine. The Geek Book? Well I AM quite near the NY Public Library again aren't I? perhaps this coming week I'll take a gander through the stacks. Could you email me the title of that book you found? I'll have to have a read through it. :) Hope you had a great Holiday. Say hi to Disneyland for me. :)

Really? I actually Very much like St. Patricks. It was built by Irish immigrants between 1860 and 1880ish... the windows of the Mary Chapel are pentagrams and the end of every pew sports a sheilnagog (excuse the terrible misspelling)... though now that I think about it, that very fact IS rather creepy, isn't it? St. Joseph's Chapel is a massively important historic landmark, and is considered miraculously still standing. I've never been there- I'll have to visit!

St. Patrick's definitely is quite beautiful, but I just didn't care for the energies. It could just be from the crypt below or something. I had a real sense of anger eminating from that section. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I think I snapped a photo of two though.

I bet you'll really like St. Joseph's. The graveyard is WAY cool and very peaceful - all these old tombstones that survived over the years. I'll have to upload some of my pics that I took there. :)
