Uggggh, the language is gorgeous and the characterization incredible. I love how Astoria is so real in this, how she's the kind of girl that doesn't take any shit and has ambitions and goals for herself, and I love the way that Draco isn't romanticized.

And have I mentioned that you words make me mushy?

I quite like Astoria too, even if she never appears in canon ;) I think she'd have to be quite a tough and independent girl to marry Draco Malfoy...

And I've never really cared for fanon!Draco. His sort of wimpy, slippery canon self interests me far more, though I wanted to mature him a little here.

aww, thank you! i wasn't sure about the last two lines at first, but apparently they've gone over well, so i'm very glad people have enjoyed them so far :)

this is the first fic i've read centering on draco and astoria's relationship and it's wonderful! i love the characterization, and astoria is so real. last two lines are pretty much cathartic. also, i really liked the way draco's personality was consistent with his personality in the books, just more serious and adult. :) good work!

thank you so much, i'm glad you enjoyed it! i had a great deal of fun creating astoria - it was pretty much just like building an oc. i wanted to actually do a lot more with draco, because i'm sort of fascinated by his adult self, but there was just never enough room in this fic for it D:

Thank you so much! I really like the Draco canon pairings; the relaunch of the HP movie is making me want to write more Draco/Astoria for some reason. I think I've only read one or two other D/A stories as well, so I share your grief though I'm glad you enjoyed this :)

this was so beautiful. it was careful and i think your astoria came across eloquently. sjdklfals. i love these two. i think any characterisation i've seen of astoria is as this powerful, passionate woman that melts draco and it's perfect.
