It was my birthday on Wednesday and my friend, Tricia, and I managed to get tickets to a sold out reading/concert with Neil Gaiman and Amanda Palmer. They earned 10K for charity. They auctioned off a copy of the book Who Killed Amanda Palmer and it sold for $1300. Craziness.

On the same day my beloved iPhone died, my power cord decided to finally give up on me. It was a shitty week. My sister thankfully has a Mac as well and I can charge my computer using hers... too bad her battery life is about 15 min and therefore I have been charging my computer in 15 min increments. My phone is busted so I will not be reachable by it for awhile. I went to the Apple store to replace it. My warranty nearly covered it, but I had a dent in one of the corners that apparently voided it. It happens, so I got my mom to agree to pay for half of a new one as a birthday present. I am back from my trip. I had an awesome time. Everyone really should drive across country at least once in their life. It's fascinating. Meeting people from all over.. seeing the country.

So I went to a queer BDSM party with the Graveyard Girl (Sophie) on Saturday. It was the first time the people running it had tried to do something like it in Philly.
