tonight i ate my turkey with cranberry sauce and sweet potato healthy choice frozen meal. it made me feel like i was eating cheap thanksgiving, and where was the pie and the so good salads? and i guess it was, since it was only a 5 point meal, including the crap-ass apple dessert

I had a similar problem with my grad school classes--and still do, a little bit. I guess I was expecting grad classes to be noticeably more difficult than undergrad, and I suppose for some they are, but I found that the quality of work I was doing at SLC still got me high grades at Arcadia. It took more of an adjustment in my mindset, more than anything, to help get over this hurtle--thinking that, even though I know it, I should do the reading/work anyway, because it's better to stop on top of things and be at the top of a master's level class than to just skate on by firmly in the middle.
