Right then, as a short explanation, Haer'Dalis has quite a number or spells that may affect your character if he were to try using it on them. So I need to know from each one of you, in what way is it alright for Haer'Dalis to use his spells on your characters, and which spells would likely actually work. Don't worry, Haer'Dalis himself won't have any of the knowledge of weaknesses or resistances your character has to certain spells (unless he guesses that they might be strong of mind or something like that) that you fill out in this post. So without further ado, lets begin my silly magical permissions post of magic.

Enchantment Spells
These kinds of spells are those that are mostly hindering or charming kinds of spells.  For instance he has a few different levels of mind controlling spells, at first level he has charm person which will make you view Haer'Dalis as a trusted friend that you'd do almost anything for.  At third level he has Dire Charm, which is simply a stronger to resist version of the first, and it's more likely to work on those who are actively hostile towards him.  And then we have 5th level Mental Domination which is pretty much a full blown mind control where he can literally control your thoughts and actions, and it's harder to resist than the first two.  The duration of these spells can be rather short, (like 5 minutes or so) and the person will remember everything Haer'Dalis forced them to do after the spells duration passes.  Other forms of enchantment spells are spells that make people fall asleep, or render them unconcious.  Lastly we also have the hold person or Hold Monster type spells that make it so that it's targets are immobile for the duration of the spell.  Meaning more or less that he could go over and doodle on your face and you wouldn't be able to do much about it.  But what he's allowed to do while your affected by such spells would fall into a different kind of permissions post.  Those who have strong will power or great intellect have a better chance of resisting the affects of these spells.

Evocation Spells

Evocation spells are your standard thunder and lightning kind of spells.  They are for the most part damaging spells, some of them are homing spells that will always hit their mark, some of them can be dodged, or shruged off because you're a tough guy.  There are many different elements of spells such as lightning, ice, fire, acid, pure magic, and then you have your physical types of damaging spells that deal piercing, crushing, or slashing damage.  In other words, for this area it's mostly the kind of spells that could hurt you, damage you, and potentially kill you if you're hurt by too many of them.

Transmutation Spells

These are mostly transformation spells and the weird little odds and ends of WTFery.  So for instance Haer'Dalis might try to turn you into a squirrel with this spell, or if he's really mad, turn you to dust which is effectively an instant death.  Turn you to stone, turn you from stone to flesh again, make your skin harder, turn armor as soft as jelly.  This is also where spells like color spray originate from, that create a spray of prismatic colors that will make those who are of weak stamina pass out.  It essentually allows him to, for the most part, turn something into something else.

Conjuration Spells

These are primarily summoning spells like summoning monsters, or summoning weapons or summoning flaming meteors that he can throw at people.

Illusion Spells

These are some of his more potent spells despite the fact that they don't really exist persay.  With these kinds of spells he can become invisible to spy on people, or turn other people invisible.  The invisibility lasts 24 hours, or when a hostile action is performed.  Then he has the greater invisibility spell that allows him to make a target invisible no matter what they do, but it only has a duration of maybe an hour or so.  He has a spell that can literally make you blind until it is dispelled or until you get a good night's sleep, he has spells that create illusionary copies of himself or others, and he can summon illusionary creatures or phantasmal images to scare, frighten, or fool others.  He can also create illusions of his other spells like making it look like he's going to step through a dimension door to teleport away, but in reality he's only turning himself invisible.  With his invisibility spells he will often sneak around unseen and unheard, and maybe even sneak up on somebody to do something to them.

Necromancy Spells

This school of magic contains most of the instant death, enery draining, vampiric, and raise from the dead type spells.  He has spells that will instantly kill those with little fortitude (It's not like he often will) or to kill those who are weak of will.  He also has spells that will afflict you with horrible diseases or sickness, or spells to make you weaker than normal.

Divination Spells

These are the spells that allow Haer'Dalis to see things he would not normally be able to see.  For instance these spells allow him to see through illisions or dispell illusions, his true sight spell being especially powerful being able to dispell all illusions near him, constantly for the next few minutes.  This spell also allows him to see landscapes, being able to map out miles around him from a birds eye view, giving him a general idea of where he would need to go outdoors.  (This spell doesn't work inside)  It also allows him to spy on people, places or specific things.  For instance he might be able to spy on someone while they are taking a shower, or try to discover the location of a specific item.  He can't target specific people or objects for this spell, he must choose a location, and anything within a certain are affect of that location he can see.  With his divination spells, he can dispell invisibility effects on people, or help him see through camoflage, or see where people are hiding.

Abjuration Spells

Lastly we have the mostly benificial spells and hindering type spells.  For instance he can make people resistant to many forms of damage and magic, and he can also remove many forms of magical or supernatural protections.  For instance if one were to transform themself into a giant octopus, he could attempt to dispel the affect that is making the person a giant octopus.  Depending on the power of the spell or affect, and the person using it, the harder it is to dispell.  One of his spells can make it's target completely immune to certain schools of magic, for instance if he made himself immune to divination spells, it would be almost impossible to dispel his illusion spells.  He can make people move twice as fast, or half as fast, he can envelope himself or people in stoneskins that do not hinder you in anyway (apart from looking a little like a statue) that will absorb 20 hits before fading away, otherwise lasting 24 hours.
