Haha! You have guessed correctly my green little friend. Indeed my home plane of Sigil is home to all manner of the strangest of creatures you could ever hope to know. Much like you and me one could say. But I have traveled to many places where there were only humans walking around, and let me tell you, they were almost always the most boring.

[video] Haer'dalis is a pretty likable guy ^_^ sojournsparrow August 8 2011, 13:36:39 UTC
Haha! I'm half surprised you'd still have to deal with that in a place like this. Ahhh, humans. Half the world is destroyed, and yet they're still confused by the appearance of giant talking turtles. You seem like a friendly enough chap to me, my amphibious friend. Oh, and my name is Haer'Dalis by the way.

[Blinks at the odd man, but hey, whistling! That's always a good sign!]

What do you mean by planar door? Is that some way of time travel?

Time, space, other dimensions entirely, there's no telling where a planar door might lead you my friend, but it's always and adventure to find out. The plane of existence I'm from is Sigil, the plane of doors, that lead to all manner of times and places through many different doors. Some doors are always the same, some doors rotate into leading different places each time one steps through them, some lead only to oblivion, and some are never the same no matter how many times you step through it. Some doors are even invisible, and one could stumble through it without even knowing he had done so, and in this case, I suspect that's what I may have done. Haha!

But enough of my musings my good man, allow me to introduce myself properly. I am Haer'Dalis, [He elaborately bows as if he had just been performing on stage] a blade bard, and doom guard of Sigil.

[As Gakupo listens, he has the immense feeling of drifting to a whole new dimension filled with doors. What a trippy simulation!]

...shouldn't those doors be labeled, or something? Sounds a bit confusing!

[Blinks and bows as well, because there is bowing to be done!] I'm Gakupo! You're a blade bard, huh? [Grins] You'll have a lot to retell in this place!

But a doom guard sounds...grim.

But where would the fun be if all the doors were labeled aye? Besides, how would you label all those doors, when they could change just because you labeled them. Sigil is not a place that likes to stay constant or classified, it has a will of it's own, and it is one of the places of ultimate freedom.

Well met Gakupo! Heh, the doomguard can be a bit grim sometimes since we are the harbingers of the end of all things, but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy what time the universe has while I can. In fact, I'd say I enjoy it more so because I know more than anyone that the universe will end, so it's best to enjoy every moment of it while you can.
