    I thought I wanted to go there. When I visited in the summer it was really pretty and the classes were small and the dorms were big and it seemed like a nice place to be. But recently I feel so good here. On one hand, I don't want to leave the people I love that are going to be here (at least, not yet). And on the other, I don't want to pass up ( Read more... )

Hey, so keep in mind that college is still like 7 months away, and although you don't have until then to make a decision, you still have that much time at home. Also I'm sure if you said yes now and then over the summer decided to not go, you wouldn't have to deal with much of a penalty (as opposed to saying no now and regretting that later). If you decided not to go then that is fine-would you go to CC for two years and then transfer? Because even that is a great thing to do, but only if your heart is in it and you don't feel like you're settling. I would say that starting off college in a 4-year school isn't exactly something you can replicate later on, but starting at CC would give you more time to think about what you want, where you want to live, what you want to do, etc. There are clear benefits to both options and it is a very hard decision to make. But if you do what you think is best, it won't be a mistake, no matter the outcome; you can always start over if that's what you need to do. (Also, could you maybe defer your ( ... )
