dunno... I was using it for something other than the intended meaning... a mood... which is the meaning of the word, and it isn't a mood. But I don't think exaptated is actually a word. I think it's exapted. So there is some irony there since it's the opposite of the definition since I am using a non-word to convey the actual meaning of a different word instead of using the right word for the wrong meaning... I just lost my train of thought...
