I find myself applauding at this.

what if what you want to do meets all of the other criteria except legality? Are you still free?

I read it as saying
∃!x ( F & Wx & ( Sx ∨ Jx ∨ Tx ∨ Gx ∨ Nx ) )

F - you are free
Wx - you want to do it
Sx - Stigma stopped you
J - Your job did
T - What people think did
G - Being no good
N - Nobody wants to hear

Or,
There is no x where you are free and x is something you want to do, and any of these things stopped you from doing x

So you could still be not free, when there's nothing you want to do that you didn't for any of the reasons.

Pretty much.

You can't have freedom without responsibility. They go hand in hand.

Because what you're describing isn't "True Will". True Will doesn't mean "do whatever you want." It also comes hand in hand with responsibilities.

I think that most Thelemites don't really know what their holy prophet is really telling them, to be perfectly honest, and confuse the whole thing with a spiritual version of being a rebellious teenager.
