Mom isn't doing well (low appetite, confused, not attending PT this past weekend - we suspect abdominal fluid accumulation) and probably hasn't been well for the last two weeks, and I've likely had my head stuck in the sand about it. At least my brother has noticed, and in so doing lit a fire under me. Sigh. I'll call in a few hours and see what

you don't need a referral to see therapists, but some therapists will insist you're also seeing a psychiatrist and some insurances make you get referrals for those; however, i never needed one on healthfirst.
