ohh a challenge for kandaman 8) tembleques March 25 2010, 06:10:02 UTC
Kanda found himself trying to escape these illusions of some strange woman accosting him--not that illusions were unusual for him--but this one lady was unfamiliar to him. She appeared at random intervals of time and seemed definitely fixed on him; as if she could actually see him at this particular time and place, unlike the superimposed person the rest would see throughout his hallucinations and dreams.

Needless to say, he hasn't been able to sleep properly.

(Alright, dammit, the woman was fucking creepy.)

So, walking late at night was one of his options to escape the creep trying to crawl up his bed or stealing the blankets from him. What worried him was that his neck had started hurting since many days before, and his healing did not do anything about it. He felt heavier, too, lagging a bit more on his movements. At some point, he might as well have found himself walking below Demyx' trap.

Demyx didn't know who was walking into his 'areas,' and frankly didn't care because once they were there? He wasn't worried about them.

It wasn't even a factor of stalking Kanda briefly or anything- once he was in range, a hundred water clones (though with less shape to them then normal, now appearing as deformed blobs) sprung up around him and advanced instantly. "Tick tock~" Demyx said cheerfully to himself from his perch, the clock counting down the minute.

The hairs at the back of Kanda's neck were prickled with the uncertainty that something was going on.

Spot on; not two seconds later and he was surrounded by a tumult of... water-y blobs? This must be some kind of stupid joke. But he was one man to take all things seriously, as much of a tightass as it made him seem. He reached for Mugen - his sword - and growled of the impertinence of these appearing shadows.

What the fuck was what he managed to think as he ran his sword across one of the figures, managing very little damage - water as it was.

[ooc: Water clones themselves are pretty easily defeated. :D You hit them once or twice and they vanish. However there are a hell of a lot of them, and when there are a hundred, you have a minute to defeat them. If there are ten, you have ten seconds (which is actually harder).]

Demyx hummed merrily to himself as the water clones closed in. Even if they were made of water, when they hit it hurt, not actually wounding Kanda but enough to sting and possibly delay. And to annoy, obvious.
