characters: "Kamui" and Leon location: the park time: afternoon rating: PG-13, because it is still "Kamui" in here. open/closed: Closed summary: Oh hello there random encounter.
[So... back to-- some form of normal. Though he's not sure what to expect this time. Strange things always seemed to be happening. Why it was happening again was a good question.
The previous few weeks...
They'd been strange. Stranger than usual.
Cutting through the park was just a much faster way to get back to where Leon was currently staying. He didn't have much need or want to see much of anyone right now-- if any of them were still alive... It was difficult to say just yet.]
[Of course he should have known there are people here. It's an open city. Not exactly free, but open.
The scent of the person walking around is familiar though. And he can tell by the sounds of his footsteps that he will pass by soon enough. "Kamui" turns around, a greeting ready.
Because it'd be just rude not to give out a greeting when meeting an acquaintance.]
Le--
[And trust his body to suddenly start reacting to... something. An itching at his back Not exactly an itching, but more of a sharp, irritating pain. He frowns, biting off his greeting to look over his shoulder. Human bodies aren't really made to be looking at their own backs, but it doesn't stop them from trying.]
[There's only one thing he can do right now, what with his back feeling like something is about to burst right out of it.]
Excuse me.
["Kamui" drops to one knee just to support himself and-- well, it's suddenly very breezy and cool. It must be the wings that are suddenly up close and personal, all over his face, fluttering a little and kicking up a few gusts along the ground.
Messy, too, scattering white feathers everywhere.
Right then and there, he knows that they are his own wings, on his own back, attached to his own body. He can feel them the same way he can feel his other limbs, feeling as natural as if they have been there from the start.
Just... they didn't have to rip right through his clothes.]

[The very last-- the last person he wanted to see right now. "Kamui", at least, seems more... lively this time.
Not falling apart. Not... blue-ish.
And with-- he didn't... how did-- Right. Focus. Just. Focus.
Nevermind the odd reaction. Not that he was particularly aware that it was his fault for the sudden pain "Kamui" was in.]
