characters: Hanatarou Yamada/anyone who randomly pops up.
location: Solace park
time: Afternoon
rating: G
open/closed: Open
summary: Since he's having trouble sensing his spirit energy, he decides to wander around the park and find something or someone to try and heal.

Since Hanatarou had finally gotten setteled in, he decided that he was going to try and figure out why he didn't seem to have as much spiritual energy as usual, not figuring it was because of the collar that he was wearing. So, making sure his bag is securly closed and across his back, and with his sword at his side, (since he wants to keep it next to him incase something doesn't work) he walks out of his room at the inn and out the door. Taking out the journal and turning to the page that has the map that was drawn on it, he back tracks to the park.

Upon getting there, he brings his bag around in front of him and puts his journal in there. He then closes it and re-situates it onto his back. Looking around, he decides to walk towards the woods that he sees to his right. Hence, having made up his mind, he walks towards and into the woods. It doesn't seem to be very big, but he's going to wander around anyways. After walking around for a good while, he stumbles, literally because he tripped over a tree root, upon a black bird with what looks like a hurt wing. He regains his balance, and walks slowly towards the bird, which, for lack of better word, croaks at him in warning. He stops walking towards it and looks up and sees a nest. He then takes another look at the bird and comes to the conclusion that it's still a young one. Taking off his bag, he sets it on the ground and opens it up, bringing out a couple crackers that he has. He then sets the bag off to the side and walks forward slowly. Despite the squaking of the bird, which he's now decided is a Raven, he gets close enough to where he can toss a cracker for the bird to eat it without moving to much.

After tossing the bird the cracker, he waits and watches as the bird cautiously eats it. After it's done, he tosses another one towards it. After repeating this a couple times, he crawls slowly towards the bird, which is now just staring at him expectantly. Holding out another cracker, he gets near enough to the bird to where he can examine it's wing. Giving giving the cracker to the raven, he looks at it's wing.

"Well, it's not broken, so I should be able to fix it no problem! How you managed to sprain it, I don't know...but I'll try and fix it."

At that, Hanatarou holds out his hands over the wing, as the raven watches with keen eyes, and starts to concentrate. Slowly, very slowly, his hands start to glow a soft green color, and he feels something coming from the collar around his neck. The raven stills and doesn't move for a couple minutes as Hanatarou forces his healing energy out of his hands and into the sprain on the raven's wing. Rather quickly, the glow fades from Hanatarou's hands and he sits back, breathing rather heavily, a light sheen of sweat on his forehead.

"That...that was hard. I think...the collar is the one dampening my spiritual pressure," he looks at the raven, "How are you feeling?"

The raven gets to it's feet and flaps it's wings a couple times, not seeming to be in any pain. Hanatarou smiles and nods, "That's good, atleast my healing kido still work."

The raven, giving Hanatarou what look that makes it seem like it's sizing him up, hops over to his bag, and starts pecking/tapping at it. Hanatarou gives the bird a confused look and then laughs, "Oh, you want another cracker." He crawls over to his bag, which wasn't very far, and opens it, getting out a handful of crackers and gives them to the raven.
