IC INFORMATION
NAME: Vergil
SERIES: Devil May Cry
CANON POINT: Post-DMC3, Pre-DMC1. More explained in History.
HISTORY:
“Two millennia ago”, begins the tale. Two thousand years ago compared to what human being conceive as “today”, there were far greater wars waged. Two Realms, that of Darkness in which Demons resided, and that of Light, which Humans resided, were joined as one. The King Of Darkness was, of course, a hungry one, wanting to rule the two realms as one Kingdom; he waged war against the Light and, naturally, the weak human beings began to fall. But one Demon, capable of having sympathy and longing to feel human emotions, had a … “change of heart”, they call it. He lifted his blade in the name of the Light, turning his back on his kind, of whom he had no alliance. The Dark Knight Sparda felled the King -- and without its King, the Darkness ( ... )

《 DEVIL MAY CRY 》 ⇒ Vergil. reneges November 2 2009, 17:34:57 UTC
Vergil is investigating a Library and is approached by Arkham, later going along with the man’s plan to raise the Temen-Ni-Gru, a great tower that was the gateway to the Demon World. First, they have to undo seven seals, all angels representing the Seven Deadly Sins. Vergil resides in a mansion with Alice and her deranged rabbit, crossing paths with Dante several times, showing the younger sibling just how much he has changed (to which Dante responds, “don’t make me have to kill you”.) While the amulets their mother gave them are needed to open the gate, Vergil takes Dante’s, only to give it back later while professing he can take it any time he wants because Dante is weak. It is a year before the two cross paths again ( ... )

《 DEVIL MAY CRY 》 ⇒ Vergil. reneges November 2 2009, 17:38:31 UTC
He buckles, dropping Force Edge and his amulet, and as a true attest to character … bends over and picks up his mother’s necklace instead, possessively telling Dante no one can have it but him. Stumbling back to the cliff the water runs against, Dante rushes forward to keep him from falling, and Vergil forces Yamato to his throat. “Leave me and go,” he tells him, telling him he won’t follow because the Netherworld was their father’s home with a never before heard softness to his voice. He falls off the cliff, and even as Dante desperately reaches for him, he cuts open his brother’s hand to keep him at bay.

Dante is heartbroken at the loss of his older brother, nearly crying in front of Lady, and surely Vergil feels the effects himself. Surviving the fall, he recklessly throws himself at The Prince of Darkness in another battle without any recuperating from Dante’s blow. Naturally, he loses, and Mundus turns Vergil into his own personal tool to be used in his rising to the Human World in the first game …

WEAPONS/ABILITIES/ETC:
As Nelo Angelo, Vergil will have absolutely no powers, even so far as lacking solid speech (though he may do short, jarred phrases in a deep, menacing voice). A plot has been worked out with Dante’s Mun to revert him to normal in the future, at which point he will gain access to his usual powers.

    Abilities:
      • Enhanced Physical Power/Speed/Senses -- being a demon is très chic, doncha know. Being a half demon gives Vergil heightened everything ever.
      • Swordplay -- it’s often noted that Vergil’s sword prowess exceeds that of Dante’s, and his father’s keepsake weapon Yamato is the perfect fit. A stylized katana, the descendent of Sparda gracefully and fluidly wields the weapon that can, itself, cut through the fabric of space and time itself. He uses a style called iado, which also involves attacks with the sheath for prime speed and force.
      • Teleportation -- simply short-term: that is, teleporting from one side of the room to another as opposed to one city to another.
      • Rapid Regeneration -- for all those icky ( ... )

Reserve - Xion II debilitate November 5 2009, 08:08:14 UTC
HISTORY: Xion's beginnings were in Castle Oblivion, created by Organization XIII's Vexen as an imperfect Replica of Sora from leaked memories that escaped him as he slept to restore his own memories. From Sora's memories, Xion resembles Kairi to an extent, as memories of Kairi are strong in the Keyblade Master's mind, but depending on who looks upon her, Xion can appear to be Sora, Vexen, or just simply a hooded doll to some. Though flawed to some, since Xion came from Sora, she is able to wield the Keyblade, just as Sora and Roxas can, which becomes one of the critical plot points of Days' storyline ( ... )

It isn't long, however, that Xion decides to go back to Sora, and disappears from the Organization once more. Roxas and Axel find her, and eventually do, but again, it isn't long when Xion escapes again, this time going to meet Naminé, where she then finds out that, once back within Sora, no one will remember her; everyone will forget Xion even existed. Despite that, Xion stands fast to her decision, even going so far as to confront Axel when he followed her to the Old Mansion to try and reclaim her back (thinking that her return would also bring Roxas back to the Organization). Though she fought hard, Xion lost and is taken back to The World That Never Was. Fatigued from the fight, Axel collapses, and Xemnas appears to take her to reconstruct her in preparation for her true goal ( ... )

When given the right provocation, Xion can lash out with sharp, and sometimes violent, whips of anger. She displays this by trying to strike down Riku when he called her Keyblade a sham. Failing to do so caused her to scream out in rage and frustration for what happened, and even carries that attitude towards Saix when he refused to have her go after Riku again to try and fix up her mistake of botching that mission. Facing such distress can cause Xion to distance herself sometimes, and brood, even around her friends. If it is anything that Xion dislikes, and possibly fears, is to be considered useless and discarded like a rag doll, a puppet she herself knows about the strings tied to her being ( ... )

IC INFORMATION
NAME: Kagamine Len
SERIES: Vocaloid: Prisoner continuity
CANON POINT: Execution tiems.
HISTORY: For all intents and purposes, Len was born into war. He remembered only fragments of a life before the war reached him, of something resembling a home life in a small town with parents of meager means. But before Len was even old enough to fully grasp the concept of war, it swept through his hometown and burned it to the ground. He was eight. After that came the years of wandering, of always half starving and never knowing where he was going to sleep. The war being fought around him was an old one, one started by their fathers which raged on with no end in sight. The toll it took on the world became more evident by the day as farmers climbed into tanks instead of tractors and people forgot how to live in their bid to survive ( ... )

Kagamine Len ❀ I CANNOT BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR MY ACTIONS. iluphone December 2 2009, 13:29:23 UTC
The next day, he traded another prisoner some of his rations for paper and a pencil, and he wrote a letter to the girl. Then he folded the letter into a paper airplane, and waited out in the yard to see if she would come again. She did, and when he saw her he threw the plane through the fence to her. That was how they came to exchange letters ( ... )

Kagamine Len ❀ BESIDES, I BLAME REN. iluphone December 2 2009, 13:30:38 UTC
PERSONALITY: Len is largely the sum of the experiences of his life, shaped by the events of the war the way a pebble laying at the bottom of a stream is unfailingly worn smooth by the current. He grew up in such isolation that he feels estranged from the world and the other inhabitants of it. When he was a child, he was alone. His only company were the dead and the dying. When he was in the army, though he worked closely with other soldiers, the sheer amount of killing they had to do left him unable to cope with the carnage in any way but to let himself grow impartial. Even with the girl in the white dress, though he loved her more dearly than anything else in his short life, he knew them to be worlds apart. He loved her, but never once thought of himself as like her. This rings true with every relationship he has ever and possibly will ever form. He has serious attachment issues and isolates himself by force of habit. He doesn't want to, but it's all he's ever known and all that's kept him alive this long ( ... )

Kagamine Len ❀ IDK WHY I JUST DO. IT'S ALWAYS HER FAULT. Also done. :x iluphone December 2 2009, 13:31:27 UTC
WEAPONS/ABILITIES/ETC: Len's well versed in the ways of war, although he's got a strong aversion to it. No special magical abilities to speak of, though.

SAMPLES
THIRD PERSON:The first thing Len noticed was different was the fact that he could breathe. He choked on the clean air as it cut through the poison in his lungs, then broke off into a series of thin, wet coughs as his head and vision cleared. Shuddering, he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and pulled himself up off the floor, sitting back as he tried to understand what was happening. They guards wouldn't have changed their minds. A malfunction ( ... )

[RESERVE] Riku 2/4 - for the record, I did too. ;; moeism December 8 2009, 10:56:15 UTC
HISTORY: The story begins on a small gathering of islands, three best friends, and the dream to explore other worlds. Riku was 15 then, young and confident; after all, it was his idea to build the raft and Sora and Kairi joined him, the sweet promise of adventure, freedom, and independence filling their minds. A violent storm tore through the islands the night before they were to set sail and Riku found another route: the door to darkness, nestled deep in the secret spot surrounded by drawings of past endeavors and wishes lining the cave walls. Not one to let chance slip past, Riku offered Sora to join him once more, but Sora was too late. On that night, Sora lost his friends and his home, gaining the keyblade in return (though Riku was the rightful wielder) and the drive to save his friends, and later, the worlds ( ... )

[RESERVE] Riku 3/4 - I bet you didn't miss my tl;dr though moeism December 8 2009, 10:57:19 UTC
Riku eventually wakes up and finds himself in the basement level of Castle Oblivion, guided by a voice and a card. It is there that he re-encounters Maleficent and other denizens of darkness, including Xehanort's Heartless, due to the fact that he had previously turned his back on the light and his friends. It is also there that he runs into a few members of Organization XIII who, in the midst of unrest between their ranks, attempt to acquire Sora and Riku to basically see which group can take out the other and eventually run the whole Organization. After a battle with Vexen, Riku also runs into a replica of himself that's out to kill the "real thing". Through all of this, King Mickey is there every step of the way to help him, and later, so is Namine- Kairi's Nobody. When they meet, Namine offers to lock up the darkness inside him while returning Sora's lost memories. Riku naturally refuses and resolves to fight Xehanort's Heartless himself with King Mickey's help. The two eventually succeed and they leave Castle Oblivion and run ( ... )

[RESERVE] Riku 4/5 - okay clearly, I lied moeism December 8 2009, 11:04:08 UTC
PERSONALITY: Riku is pretty much the opposite of Sora; where Sora is cheerful and optimistic, Riku leans more towards blunt and practical. That isn't to say that he's really emo or anything- he just has a more realistic way of interpreting things. Though Riku does have his reasons for being more aloof and quieter than he used to be back when he was 15, where he was a lot more cocky and a lot more competitive. However, through his journeys in the games, he has multiple realizations and through these realizations, he comes to terms with the fact that he had let his heart become weak and if he can't get rid of the darkness in his heart, he decides to use it without turning from the light like before. He matured immensely from these realizations, and after leaving the past behind him when he left Castle Oblivion, he also left behind a lot of his traits ( ... )
