He paces, twitching awkwardly, and eventually whirls around to snap at Cliare because he needs to do something. "What?!"

She picks up one of the magazines nearby and flips through it, frowning. It's some People magazine thing, which she was never all that into even pre-apocalypse. Jackie would've paid attention to it, though, and that's the only reason she doesn't put it down.

He'd normally be taunting her, hurting her, pushing her, anything to make her twitch- but Todd's still too fucking lucid and insistent for that. "You know, she doesn't motherfucking care about you, retard. Ever think of that?" He grumbles, kicking the chair again.

Claire's opinion is that he needs to eat, but she's not in the mood to try forcing it.

She looks...slightly better, in that she's alert and responsive, but the medical equipment ensuring she doesn't slip away in the night (without Shmee's desperate measures keeping her alive) dwarfs her unfortunately now incredibly skinny form, and she's translucently pale. She is making a visible effort to be presentable, when they get into the room, compulsively smoothing the blankets over her knees, propped up by pillows and a bed that'll sit up if she pushes the right buttons.

She's prepared to keep Todd from crush-hugging Elizabeth, if necessary, but hopefully he's present enough that it won't happen.

He knows enough not to hug her. She could snap, or something. So he murmurs something vaguely like a greeting instead and sidles into the room.
