I think it's about time we put our heads together and came up with a mnemonic for remembering how to spell the word "mnemonic". Any thoughts?

It's spelled exactly like "mnemonic"... that's the best I can come up with. I mean, you can say, "Oh, it's from Mnemosyne, the Greek goddess of memory," but does this really improve matters?
