I sat there watching the lot across the street from a mid-level window of a high-rise building. The people in the lot were moving around preparing for something, but I wasn't sure what, just that I need to be paying attention to them and report back if anything out of the ordinary happens. Loss
I was able to speak to my father the other day. Sometime on Friday night a fire (they're saying faulty wiring) broke out in the attic of the apartment building. No one even noticed it until it was out of control. The fire department came and had fought it back and it was almost out ( Read more... ) -
Well...
It appears that my father just lost everything but the clothes on his back to a fire.
I really hope there's someone in his part of the world that can help him through this. -
But then...
I was lying there in my bed and everything was fine. I was about to fall asleep when people started coming into my room. They weren't crowding or anything, they were all lined up at the coffee bar that sat opposite my bed. Tired
