So true, I've seen some pictures and a video interview, and I was like "Are you sure this is HIM? I'll have to take your word for it, because I can't RECOGNIZE him at all." Ironically, because of the movie I think he's prettier with a "mud beauty mask" on his face and an animal skull in his hair. XD
BTW, I hope you're having fun at school (and you're not freezing too much). *hugs*
Thank you! ^^ I am, and I'm dealing with the freezing by wrapping up in scarves and layers every time I step out of the door and using my hot water bottle all the time inside. XD
It's a bit ironic that a Seal died by drowning, but, yes, I like that paint fading away too, because it instantly makes him look more human and vulnerable. IDK, like if you take away that painted warrior mask, there's a boy underneath.
I agree, Tahar is really a great actor. I know the movie is primarily about Marcus and Esca, but if the camera focused more on the Seal Prince at times, I think it would enrich to movie and also make it look less one-sided. But I think that was out of the scope, and anyway, they didn't have the time to include properly so many complex details. *sigh*
:D It's really the kind of character that grows on you. Well, on me, at least. Must be something about hidden depth, potential, and Tahar's acting. (And the naked thighs. I always thought the Seal warriors are wearing sealskin pants, but they don't! Did you notice that they actually wear a MINISKIRT, a pair of over-the-knee BOOTS (or stockings), and are SHOWING OFF THEIR NAKED PAINTED THIGHS? Am I the last to notice this?) And now I kind of fervently ship him with Placidus. Curse you!
Thank you! I'm glad you like them! I felt a bit guilty for posting only pictures without any funny commentary, but I think funny comments wouldn't cut it here.

I loved the death scene, the water and the paint fading away... :)

I'm glad you liked it, especially since I didn't retouch the images to make them "shinier!" XD
