I swear to God, I'm going to become a hermit.  I should never, ever leave my house, ever.  I must have a black cloud, a black cat, a broken mirror and whatever other bad luck superstitions there are out there, following me everywhere I go!

you don't have to sue them sweetie...you're entitled to be reimbursed for any out of pocket expenses and lost income, all you have to do is file a claim. your grandmother's insurance company can tell you how to do this. however, my advice is to get an attorney, cuz you're also entitled to pain and suffereing, and that's not something they usually cough up on their own. it doesn't cost you anything, the attorney will be paid out of any funds he recovers. about 45 years ago i was in a similar accident. i ended up with 5k. that could buy you your own car. think about it.

I've been told this by everyone and I had already planned on doing this because I missed two days of work and one day of classes. My boss is pissed off, not that she cares whether I'm okay or not and I used up my free absence for my classes. So now if anything else goes wrong, I'll go down a letter grade in all three of my classes. So yeah, I'm definately going to persue getting an attorney and going through that process.
