This is hilarious (in the way that I COMPLETELY empathize with Kevin). I love the way Mike tries to make things better, and the way he totally admits to his affection for Kevin and desire to make things better. It's so nice!.

I admit, I love these boys when they're being all schmoopy and FUNCTIONAL. Actually, that right there needs to be fic. Mike and Kevin have the one actually FUNCTIONAL relationship, and are thus constantly the pillars of support for their friends/family and all the messed up crazy drama of THEIR relationships. LOLZ. XD

I stumbled across your fics and am gleefully making my way through most of it and I empathize with Kevin SO much. Whenever I try to bake there is some sort of disaster and my mom looks at me sympathetically and tries to fix it. Mike's little "Trying to make you feel better is right there in the boyfriend's job description." made me go "Awwwwwww!" so much too.

I have had SO MANY baking disasters. This was lightly inspired by the time I forgot the second cup of flour, and my mom "fixed it" by adding TWO cups to the mix. WE BOTH FAILED. XD
