And girls go wild on spring break.

But not boys. Nuh-uh. Never.

All in all, it's been a sad week for feminism. My guess is it's been a sad few months, years, decades, centuries, and millennia for feminism, but I've just been noticing it more in the last week.

UGH. We don't teach the boys not to take advantage of drunken girls in an unfamiliar place; we tell the girls to be careful, because it's "their job." 'Cause everyone knows boys don't pass out from drinking in public places, get STDs or get nude in public under the influence. And if they do, well, GOSH, that's just what they OUGHT to be doing. Don't worry, the girls will make sure nothing bad happens! It's everything I hate about "women shouldn't walk alone at night, that's just the way it is to be female" instead of "we ought to make the streets safe so women CAN walk alone at night."

It's really time for the fifth wave of feminism, I think. Long overdue, even.
