♥I saw a bunch of common dolphins and a blue whale!♥ ^0^

(My mom's visiting since I couldn't make it out to Dragon*con due to school and finances this year, and she hadn't seen me in a long time. We went to Long Beach. Whalewatching-in-Newport buds, don't worry, we're still on for next weekend and I will be just as pumped.)

That must have been so cool. I've seen my share of dolphins growing up in the Florida, but I've never seen a blue whale!

We saw the dolphins first and I flipped out. I didn't know my voice could quite get that high. Then the captain spotted the blue pretty far out and we followed her while she went down and came up four times (staying down for 8-10 minutes each time). We were about 200 feet away from her the last time she came up. I'd never seen a whale in real life before so it was pretty awesome.

I remember seeing some dolphins and a blue whale and a seal once all in one day... ironically, that was the day of my mermaid shoot! hahaha

But omg I miss themmmm!! I'm so excited you got to see them!!! ♥ ♥ ♥

I saw a sea lion too, so kind of the same experience!

You saw a blue whale while doing your mermaid shoot? Like, from the shore? That's crazy amazing! The one we saw was a really vibrant blue...so pretty! ♥♥♥

WHALES!!! XD I can't remember actually if it was blue... maybe I made that part up.

But she did have her baby with her! We could see the little spurts of water coming up next to the big ones!! XD

I'm sad I haven't yet seen dolphins this summer--- hopefully SOON! XD
