It was a story about a trainer and his Pokemon: Ghost was its name. Instead of attacking, Ghost only knew Curse, but it was different: everyone he Cursed was killed. The Pokemon didn't faint, they actually died. And the trainer soon realized that his Pokemon could also kill the trainer of the opposing Pokemon, and he chose to do that, too.
After he battled everyone he could possibly battle, including the Elite Four, he returned home, old, only to recall everyone he'd killed with Ghost. Finally, he was the only one left, and now Ghost was against him. I suppose the trainer could only struggle to attack, but he just hurt himself every time he tried. Finally, he, too, was Cursed, and that was the end of the trainer.
I asked if the story was true, and Morty was vague about it. He said it was up for me to decide, though I cannot. If it is fake, then is there supposed to be a deeper meaning to the story to advise others about a life lesson? I can't tell.
