Life is too short to dwell on the stupid. If he chooses to leave you he has thrown away the best year of his life. All you can do is be there for him and let him know ALWAYS. Life is too short to dwell on the little things; for you to spill to one person that you are friends is minute to you hypothetically spilling his personal private information he shared with you and no one else.
