Gas Leak

So I was watching tv in the living room yesterday and the doorbell rang sometime around seven. I open it and it's a guy from PG&E. He asks if we had put in a call about a gas leak, saying that someone had called giving the name "Kathy" and a general location, but no address. He'd been going door to door looking for the caller. O_o Whoa, crazy. At least you found the leak though! If the main valve had a leak on it, too, then it's a good thing you found it now before anything really bad happened.

That was our thought. The whole thing was just so random and weird. If the guy hadn't been wearing a PG&E uniform and had a company truck parked out front I wouldn't have let him in the house as the whole thing seemed very... odd. But hey, much better to get these things sorted out before they turn into big problems.
