Time for geekery!

Back from Fanime. Yes, it took me the entire week. How? It's amazing.

Highlights: Had an awesome time hanging with cabbitjakie, heebee and Will (thanks to his Solid Snake cosplay, it took us approximately half a day to get anywhere). Took some pictures, which I may or may not scan depending on the quality, and also did some hanging with jetzach and j_kub. Had a mini- ( Read more... )

The pic, it is scarring to my soul.

You forgot one pro for AX: I'll be there! :o Stuck at the Geneon booth, anyway. Of course, you have no idea what I look like, and I have no idea what you look like, so odds are I'll hand you some of our swag with a zombified smile on my face and thank you for Supporting Our Company, and then we part ways. Or I'll be at work elsewhere at the con...

Okay, not so much a pro after all. Go for CLAMP anyway, you can deal with the unwashed cosplaying masses, I'm sure.

As intended. XD

True! Yeah, you did mention that earlier, didn't you? One more to add to the list.

It's not so much the unwashed aspect, it's the vision of five-thousand Chiis all chanting "Chii! Chii!" that gives me the chiis chills.

Scarring of soul now compounded. You're right. Brrr.

Anyway, I should be getting my booth shift schedule sometime in the next couple of weeks, so maybe you can come find me at a time that I should be there.

Regarding the drabble bit you posted:

alk;jlkasdfakl please write more now

I think my favorite part was the making out with Mizuki. Way to take one for the team, Inui. May I please, please, link to this on my journal? Pretty please with cherries?

For a moment there, I thought you'd typed, "Way to take one from the team," and was all, "Inui does have good stamina, but I don't think it's that good."

If you want to, then sure, go ahead! I love Inui/Mizuki, and
I don't know why. They should date just to piss Fuji off.

You know he'd do it if he could get good data from it.

Will do! I'm eternally sad that Inui/Mizuki doesn't really exist. I've seen only one decent piece of fiction for the pairing.

Speaking of Rokkaku, the next Tenipuri Musical is going to be the Rokkaku match. They've just announced the new cast and the guy they've got playing Aoi is too adorable.

So young-looking but adorable.

...oh jeebus. I blame you.

But it's such a fun pairing! I laugh just thinking about it!

Oh no. I'm going to have to watch that, aren't I? Here's hoping Bane give someone a noogie!

Linked here by alice_and_lain and oh man, I love your ficlet! I love Inui's Tezuka-phonecalls so much. And the way Tezuka hangs up upon hearing Inui's excuse. He is such a socially awkward boy, and you've written him wonderfully. XDDD

And I especially loved this: "Unfortunately," Inui continued, "Momoshiro's good mood will irritate Kaidoh, and they will be 26% more likely to fight. Kaidoh lacks a makeout partner. I hope to find a compatible match for him soon, so that his frustration will not affect his game." He paused. "If I can't, I may just offer myself as a solution."

hahahahahahahaha, oh, Inui. So selfless of you, I'm sure.

XD I'm glad you liked it! I bet Inui spams Tezuka's email, too. And they're both socially-awkward, which is part of why I like the pairing so much.

Everything Inui does is for the good of the team. Really.

I'm glad you liked it! And it's good to hear that they weren't too out-of-character--I'm new to the fandom and don't have all the info, so... yeah. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
