Simon is a good looking man, besides being as tall as the sky. He has a very lean, muscular build and light olive skin, dusted with faint freckles. While he's not Harry from the Hendersons, he IS sporting a decent amount of body hair. Those European features are pretty easy to spot, too. Long face, angular bone structure, and a large, pointed nose. Mostly out of habit than anything else, his hair is kept short, along with his nails and facial hair - he likes to have a tidy appearance.

Job-related skills: telecommunications, robotic design/programming, cybercommunications, computer repair/programming, audio/visual surveillance installation/administration, long-ranged firearms, reconnaissance skills

Hobbies/recreations: Building and programming of robotic constructs for personal use, constructing miniatures of war history figures/buildings/artillery, reading, playing video games, collecting vintage electronics and upgrading them with modern electronic components, looking at porn

Personal qualities (imagination, taste, etc.): Simon tends to pool his creative influences into his robotics work, having silly flights of fantasy to create odd constructs. He can have a naivete about him, at times, in that he likes to believe that the concept of 'Good' is greater than that of the concept of 'Evil', but it's rare for him to ever voice it. He's drawn to the way things look rather than work, like how he'll buy vintage items despite having a modern version of it already. Spooky stuff lures his wild imagination very easily, like things of the occult or of fairy-tales. And I wouldn't put it past him to have a whole philosophy on the theoretical adaptations of a Post-Apocalyptic future.

A few poor qualities about him is that he is a blatant chauvinist, and usually has no tact in conversation. He can easily be offensive when he fails to take into consideration the feelings of others, because he's an ass. His crudeness is a bad habit more than anything else. The rise some of his comments get out of people amuses him, though. The guy completely gets that he's offensive, but he does keep his mouth more controlled when he's in public. Not COMPLETELY controlled, obviously, but he's at least somewhat censored. I think after being confronted about it so many times he's actually started to try to stop, however hard it is for him to do so.

Ambitions: After hearing that the Vercer Robotics Development Team was beginning to make plans to develop a humanoid robot for 'at-home' personal use, he has been doing whatever he can to make his résumé look shiny enough for Vercer to look his way when the hiring process for AI engineers comes around.

Fears/anxieties/hangups: Aside from Cleithrophobia (the fear of being locked in a small closed space), Simon has trouble with opening up to people, especially women. It would be an understatement to say that he has trust issues. He gets very nervous about pandemic diseases or the thought of catching them, as well as anxieties about people breaking into his apartment. His paranoia of invasion has grown to the point of over-exceeding the maximum limit of locks on his apartment door, one of which requires a keycard to unlock. Not that anyone's going to really count them.

Any mention of the death of his good buddy, Fish, will result in Simon instantly trying to avoid any more conversation for a while. It's a very touchy subject for him, even after dealing with his heartache by drinking himself stupid for a long while.

Intelligence: As a child, he was called 'gifted' and even skipped a grade. He did refuse to take the continuing test to skip another grade level because he didn't want to be picked on by the older kids in that grade. Probably one of his smarter moments of insight. He's still a smarty-pants, with his fancy genius-level IQ.

Sense of humor: Sarcastic, dark, and lewd. He likes bad jokes and nerd humor, for example.

Most painful setback/disappointment: When Simon's dishonesty about his identity to Fish, and a few others, began to overwhelm him, he abandoned his buddies and skipped town, thinking it was the best thing for everyone. Instead, he just made himself look like a giant prick. Teenaged drama never seems to be easy for anyone to stomach.

Most instructive/meaningful experience: Maaany years later, after graduating and going through college, he ran into Fish while traveling. It was an awkward, but ultimately awesome reunion. Through his various interactions with his old pal Simon was given several opportunities to make amends. Kinda.

Health/physical condition/distinguishing marks/disabilities: He likes to claim that he's as fit as a fiddle, which he is, for the most part. Smoking doesn't help, obviously, but he is trying to kick the habit, with much bemoaning.

Like any good soldier who's seen some action (not that kind of action) out on the field, Simon has a few battle scars; two knife marks on his chest and a bullet wound by his bellybutton. Don't poke it, though. It'll be uncomfortable. The bullet scar, I mean. Poke him in the belly button and he'll probably punch you.

Minor disabilities include asthma, acute primary insomnia, and a nose you could ski down.

Sexual orientation/experience/values: Unaligned/pansexual. Apart from several one-night-stands, he has had ongoing sexual relations with Luna Rousseau. Their love life was brilliant and annoying and burned out like a soccer mom on meth.

Attitude toward life: His opinions revolving around life and living are straight out of a page from his grandfather's book, being that he believes a person should make their life matter to either themselves or to someone in their life.

Attitude toward death: It's taken him a long time to come to this understanding that everyone dies eventually, but he likes to think that he'll deserve his end, when the time comes.

Philosophy of life (in a phrase): 'Swing hard, run fast, die young.'
