RL wouldn't stand for Richland Lutheran would it? I'm just curious.

It's Thursday evening and your the only one whose expressed interest so far. If nobody is up for it I still want to start a Saturday class where I'd teach anyone interested in showing up about different cults while retaining a focus on the Gospel. 1-3 Saturday at the Library on Union.

Your belief in scripture alone is certainly not unusual and I don't think it's offensive. I think the first step in refuting it is to establish the essential goodness God. I don't expect you to contend this. If this is true then it follows that creation is essentially good. If creation is essentially good, and God is essentailly good, then the two have something in common, and we can learn about one from the other. Specifically, we can find out something about God from his creation, in a way somewhat similar to learning about an artist through the artwork.
