So I just found out today that I don't get to go home in January like I've been planning on since before we even graduated...I'm pretty crushed - I actually cried when I got to band...mostly cause I had just talked to Simons to tell him I can't make pep band alumni game and he was pretty upset and it just made me realize everything I don't get to

Oh Caitlin...I'm so sorry :( You and Charlie should have a fundraiser and raise lots of money so he can fly to visit you during Christmas break. If you had one, I would definitely do something to earn money and donate. I'm so happy to see that you guys are still together, you guys are pretty much the definition of what is and should look like. I hope everything works out ♥

Yeah, I told him and Justin that they should ask Mr. Simons to get everyone in the pep band to donate $5 to the fund to fly me home haha...dont think that'll happen ;)

So I just read this and it made me really sad because I can only imagine how hard that must be. So, being the creepy person that I am, it got me thinking. I fly home on AirTran, this really ghetto airline that is super cheap and I love it, so I went on their website to see if they fly out of Mississippi. They do, but only out of Gulfport/Biloxi, and since I have no concept of where your school is, I then Mapquested the drive from MState to there. Sadly, it is over 5 hours, and I'm not sure if you have a car or any way to get there. But if you do, it is like $134 one way to Rochester, and I'm sure Hannah would offer to drive you home since she is there or Charlie could come get you or whatever. I know thats still a lot of money, but it would so be worth it. Then I realized its probably not even a money issue but maybe a time conflict with band or something. And then I finally realized I am a crazy stalker, but I just wanted you to know I was thinking of you and really tried to help even though it ended up being just me rambling. So in

Since you're famous and had your picture and that article in the paper...the paper should print a "Bring Caitlin Home" fund and have local community members raise money at stores and events for you! We could put your picture up on flyers and say how you miss Charlie and everyone and just haven't been here in forever!

I think it might work. Corning is generally a nice place, with good-hearted people. I think we should consider it.
