ahahaha. also, thank youuu for the lemur! it is adorable. *pets*
i can cancel it whenever i want, right? i'm really only very active in fandom during the summer ._. also, i hear tell in legends that i can edit my own comments with a paid account *___*
ahah yes, that too! editing comments is great when I have spelling/grammar fail xD like I did in my comment to you just before but didn't spot *facepalm*
You can edit it so long as no one has replied to it yet xD
The problem once you have one is that you can keep telling yourself, "I can stop paying them any time I want to," but as soon as renewal time rolls around you're like, "NO I CAN'T LOSE ALL MY BEAUTIFUL CAREFULLY COLLECTED ICONS." LJ, you are shrewd.
I stopped paying LJ for most of 2009. I wasn't very active last year anyway, but it was still... difficult. Yeah, having only 6 icons was rough but... the ads. The inability to edit comments. Mostly that last one.
Just don't fall for their a la carte userpic packages like me, and you're good.
D-did you just gift me a Paid account?!?! *DIES* *blubber* oh my god, thank you so much!!! ;;______________;; i just don't know what to say, that's so kind of you...
Let me tell you, the first thing I did before filling my userpics with Mononoke icons was start furiously sketching more mermaid-Itachis in a flurry of gratitude XD
XD A friend got me a paid account as a gift. We're mostly excited about being able to edit comments. (We discovered quickly that it still sends a notification for edited comments, so we spent a while spamming the hell out of each others' inboxes.)
I've been trying to fill my icons at least past 15, which is what I had before.
It does give the benefit of an account upgrade with no ads! AND LET ME TELL YOU, THE NO ADS PART IS ~*GLORIOUS*~.
