Awesome! Let me see, the couple that stand out from the rest, for me, are (In the set of 3 x 3 by the way) are the first one, forth, fifth, and eighth!

I'd like to see these bigger once you print them as well!

Thank you! I'm not sure if I'm going to be printing more until after Spring Break. I've printed you something though, and I'll get it addressed to you soon XD I know I said that about 2 months ago, I'm sorry.
I love your new icon by the way!! Too cute.

That's what I was going for; I kinda think they're both seduced by each others' appeal. Some people are always wanting what they don't have, the angel wants to know what she's missing as well as the devil.

The first picture is the one I'll be turning in for the "great depth of field" assignment. My favorites in the other 9 are #1 & 4, though I like all of them because Lindsay is in them. I like the little church one too, I want to take a serious of religious imagery later.
And I know you know what a good picture looks like, you inherently know what makes a good composition. I have a "shutter speed" assignment now, so we'll have to scout things out this weekend :D
I'm so excited to see you!!

I see what you mean. I probably would've ended up taking the more classical angel approach too if I'd more time to mull things over. I kept it like this trying to show that they both had been tainted by the other- like the angel has the tattoo and corset [though it has a soft frilly lace still] and the devil has innocent pearls and is gentle in her action. I guess my intent didn't really come through, and thank you for letting me know, it's hard to tell what others will think when they don't know the original reasoning behind it.
She definitely blends in, that's why I didn't pick it to turn in. Do you think if she were exaggerated with lighting that it'd be more pleasing? I like the composition of it and her scale against the building/environment, but I think that's a personal preference as to how to frame it up.
I'm definitely at a dull creativity point, haha. We'll see if I can pick things up after Spring break. :]

I saw these and immediately thought of you~

As for the pictures, I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little sad no ghosts showed up. I think they turned out really well, though! I'm super unphotogenic so I think I ruin the overall aesthetic appeal, but here are the ones I like: 1, 3, 4, and 6.

Oh they are really cute! But 45 bucks? I dunno, I suppose that's good. I'm just a cheap...skate [is that how you spell it?]. I wish we could make our own shoes, now that'd be pretty amazing. Especially after we're done making our crazy clothes and jewelry. >:D

And I'm seriously unhappy about lacking ghosts too. We'll have to go again and call them out. Maybe light some candles and chant.
And I'm also not gonna lie when I call you absolutely insane about thinking you're unphotogenic. It's good to be humble, but I'm fairly certain you could pull of being cocky and have people totally supportive and tell you "Yea, you are gorgeous, shout it out loud baby" XD

Sweets, I just saw an orangutang baby reach out and pinch his mothers butt, and then she whips around and backhands him across the face XD!! I'm watching this animal planet video show thing.
And oh! Lindsay, I saw the cutest pekingese!!!!!!!! I really want to splurge and get it out of the mall, but it's so cute that I know it'll get a home. It looks like this:

great work! anonymous February 24 2006, 21:31:09 UTC
The photos look really great :-) I love black and white film, and the lighting in these is really nicely contrasted. I would print #'s 1,4,5,6, and 8. Also, the first big one may be my favourite.

The sketch is quite alluring. I love the lingerie that they are wearing, and I probably would go for a black halo for the devil chick.

Best,
Hollis

Thanks! Yea I'm definitely turning in the first one, and am liking black and white film a little more than I used to. Though I wish we'd learn how to develop color.
I went ahead and drew the black halo, I think it looks much better :]
See you soon!
