I don't have a paid account, so I can't make a real poll, but who cares?

When spiritualists and occultists claim that they can teach you to Compound Money Like the Masters, are they:

a) so deluded by their own bull shit that they actually think that they can do this, or

b) intentionally selling snake oil to take advantage of superstitious rubes?

i don't think you can make a blanket statment about all spiritualists and occultists. a little of A, a little of B, probably even the occasional X Y and Z thrown in. but mostly A and B.

Agreed.

And some of my friends wonder why I've lost my taste for occultism. For every drop of wisdom you may find, there's a gallon of this bullshit floating around.

Interesting take. If I understand what you mean by "fresh fire from the skies," I agree, but I think useful advice can be found in some traditions (e.g. Zen Buddhism). Or, more accurately, useful advice can be found in many traditions, but some of those traditions seem more corrupted than others IMHO.
