Distance
I have to enclose my soul
Leave it in a protective wrapping
Because
I can tell you that you have the utmost potential
to touch my soul
scary...
I don't know you well yet
your gaze reveals the power
the power to help me release
my fears
but I can't handle that
just yet.
Maybe some other time for sanity's sake I need
to keep my distance.
