Next time you talk to your dad, do you think you could get him to recommend a detective agency that he's worked with? I want to start applying to them, andI've got no frame of reference. Since 99% of them work with attourney's at various points in their investigations, I figured he might know a few. (And a recommendation at least for an interview wouldn't hurt either.)

Sure. You do know that you have to have a license, etc.? Were you looking for just a gofer kind of thing?

Actually yes, I read the law regarding PI's. I effectively have to work for one for three years (36 months) take a state exam, then I can qualify to run my own agency under my own liscense.

I just want to get in with a firm that is willing to hire me with no previous experience, train me, and expect me to be around for at least the next three years. :) (preferrably at 15+ an hour, which I've read newbies make easily.)

TECHNOLOGY: Unable to control anything in your personal life, you are instead content to completely control everything that happens at your workplace. Often even YOU don't understand what you are saying, but who the hell can tell?! It is written that the geeks shall inherit the Earth.
