LOL... Oh! good recovery about that badly timed bout of laughter upon seeing the newspaper, Severus... Nice to see him admiring his handiwork with that love bite in the picture and dismissing Ginny as a threat to their budding relationship so early on ( ... )

*^_^* you're review just makes me so excited about writing, and I'm so glad you're enjoying it so far. This was quite a step forward for me and I was nervous that it would feel rushed.

Since they've known each other for years and had some level of respect between them, while not actively liking each other, their date needed them to be relaxed in each other's company. The foundation of their relationship before wasn't one that I would build a future on.
Harry, being younger, is more adept at change and he's much more comfortable with himself now that someone isn't actively trying to kill him. He already knows Severus' attitude and isn't going to let it deter him.

and save your nails, I'm already working on chapter four. but kids are constantly interrupting. ^_^

Soo...
I read all three chapters and I want more!
I'm so happy that Severus is not stupid and he didn't say 'no' to Harry.
Harry's question about potions was brilliant :D He is a very smart boy. And very Slytherin. ^^
Their first date was so lovely, I would love to see them at muggle-style dates - they must go to the cinema and snog at the last row :D
I'm looking forward to next chapter!
