Catgirl FTW!
What did you think of the second episode? It didn't wow me as much as the first. Now that the scene's been set, it seemed rather formulaic police procedural, albeit with a shiny cast, over-the-top villains, and an otherwordly setting.
I still enjoyed it though! The ending was neat -- did Catgirl really see the Wayne's killer? (Did that happen in the comics? I'm pretty sure it doesn't.)
I liked seeing more of Bruce and Alfred. It was nice to see the police forced into doing the right thing instead of covering it up. I guess the Penguin is going to be a recurring character, playing politics in the background underneath everyone's noses? Hmm.
But the story, overall, wasn't that exciting if you take out the "ooh, the future Catwoman, Batman" etc.
I'm excited for the next episode, but then again I'm a huge Batman fan.
