Holiday Recipe Ideas (a request)

My brother and I have convinced our family that in lieu of getting them gifts, we'll just be responsible for Christmas dinner. My brother wanted to do steaks and I would have happily agreed, but the family wants a more "traditional" holiday meal (turkey, stuffing, ham, etc ( Read more... )

Mashed potatoes are definitely one of my favorite sides, if not my favorite, and this recipe looks delicious. I'm probably going to make it tomorrow, you know, just to practice. Heh.

It takes a little extra prep because you have to dry the bread overnight or in the oven and make the corn bread (I usually use the box mix to save time and $$$) but it is SO worth it! It makes enough to serve about 15, but John and I can go through the stuff in under a week! (It's that good!) I guess you could half the recipe, but you're gonna wish you didn't when you try it! :)
