So I have a "kindness" label in my gmail. It's similar to a "blue Monday folder" in that I set aside emails which are particularly sweet, kind, or smile-inducing so that I can read them if I'm having a particularly shitty day. I've been stressed and so I've fallen behind in the little daily tasks of cleaning up my inbox and other things of that ilk

I don't think of it as kindness at all, I just think of it as truths that I remind you of.
I've always been so profoundly happy that we decided to meet that day that feels like years ago, both of us so new to the West and our most recent life transitions.
