Well, since we're well past the middle of the year and summer's winding down, I'm already starting to think about the end-of-the-year listmaking. There's been a lot of good music so far this year. A bit of a delay on account of... well, sleep and laundry and family dinners. But! I've had a whole day to myself to recuperate. A nap, a shower, lots of music and some staring off. Holy Shit, am I in a foul mood today. Actually, that's kinda been the theme of the week. Which is strange, since I had such a relaxing weekend.

Megamek!
You know, somehow, whenever I use the megamek random army generator, I always get stuck with some version of the Adder. Now, don't get me wrong, I love the Adder. It packs one hell of a punch in most of its configurations despite its 35-ton mass (although I'm usually handed the missile-heavy configurations for whatever reason). But it's slow. I'm not much of a stoner. In fact, I tend to avoid pot altogether since it has a strong tendency to give me a killer headache. But there are some days when sludge (and/or stoner rock) is precisely what I need. Actually, more sludge than stoner rock. There's something in that thick, distorted sound that appeals to me. Money!
I finally have pretty much everything for my car settled. They've the wreck, and once they get the title from me, they'll put the money in my account. It's a lot more than I was expecting, even after paying fucking sales tax on the reimbursement. Now I just have to decide how to use the money.
