If efficiency doesn't come up in 6 months (not in my department, my department is doing fine), the production manager may lose her job.

Frankly it's the head salesman's fault but he's also the vice pres. and will never admit it.

That sucks. Check around for other employment possibilities. Gotta be one of the other places here that would pay better.
