The next time I tangle with a damn bear, I need to remember to stay further back - especially if I'm hunting with some idiot that thinks he's gonna run in and stab it with a freakin' sword. Ch'. Moron.

Suppose I just should be glad that no one got killed. Even if it means I'm laid up for a few days to rest my arm.

Ano, there are quite a few herbs that could ease the itchiness at the very least. Perhaps if you have any aloe or chamomile plants nearby. Or even if you have oats around, if you can ground them into a fine powder you can put it in water to soak your arm or simply use it in a bath.

Yeah, I got it checked. It's not bad, just a few scratches where I didn't get out of the way fast enough.
